Bitcoin’s Mystery Solved? HBO to Expose Satoshi Nakamoto’s Identity in 18 Hours

Who is the founder of Bitcoin? As we all know, the founder of Bitcoin is Satoshi Nakamoto.

But who is Satoshi Nakamoto?

Like how his famous statue in Budapest depicts him, his identity is still anonymous. However, a recent report suggests that this anonymity may soon end. HBO is set to release a documentary this Wednesday that could reveal the identity of this brilliant mind. Excitement is building, and Polymarket, a decentralized prediction market platform, has launched a prediction session asking: “Who will the HBO doc identify as Satoshi?” The answers might surprise you!

As per the Polymarket chart on who the HBO doc will identify as Satoshi, at least 10.7% of bettors think that Nick Szabo will be identified as Satoshi by the HBO documentary. The other top names competing with Szabo for the Satoshi identity in the Polymarket prediction session are Len Sassaman, Adam Back and David Kleiman. Len Sassaman, who closely follows Szabo, has at least 8% supporters. Adam Back and David Kleiman have 6.5% and 6.4%, respectively.

Len Sassaman’s Lead Overturned Lately

Till the last day, the situation was different. On October 4, the majority of bettors (around 68%) were Len Sassaman’s supporters. At that time, Nick Sazabo had only 6.5% supporters. The cases of Adam Back and David Kleiman were even worse, as they had just 3.0% and 0.5%, respectively. Yesterday, Nick Sazabo and Adam Black started to give a tough competition to Len Sassaman; at one point, it transformed into a tight contest when Nick Sazabo’s 20% gave a tough fight to Nick Sazabo’s 23%. Not long after that, Nick Sazabo emerged as the dominant name in the betting session.

Who is Nick Sazabo?

What we know about Nick Szabo is limited. According to publicly available information, Szabo is a computer scientist who graduated from the University of Washington. He is best known for his research on smart contracts and digital currencies.

In the past, Sazabo denied every speculation connecting him to the anonymous name of Satoshi Nakamoto.

With just hours left, the crypto community is buzzing with anticipation. Will it be Szabo, Sassaman, or another contender who is revealed as the true identity behind the Satoshi statue in Budapest?
