Are the Hinman Documents Out? Pro-XRP Lawyer Condemns SEC’s Operation

Today is an important day for Ripple as the community eagerly awaits the release of Hinman documents. Attorney Fred Rispoli has expressed strong dissatisfaction with the operations of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) after examining the unredacted Ripple Opposition to SEC MSJ and Rule 56.1. He found it deeply troubling that the SEC allowed Hinman’s speech to go unchecked and expressed disgust at what he perceives as the SEC’s deliberate establishment of an official, behind-the-scenes policy.

He wrote, “Well, after looking at the unredacted Ripple Opposition to SEC MSJ and Rule 56.1, it’s disgusting how the @SECGov operated. Disgusting how it let Hinman get away with that speech. Disgusting how SEC purposefully made it official, behind-the-scenes policy to deliberately sow market confusion.”

He stated that it is evident and unquestionable that the so-called #ETHGATE incident did occur. He firmly believes that there is no doubt about it. Additionally, he expressed his strong opinion that the SEC is unlikely to win its Motion for Summary Judgment (MSJ). Rispoli also indicated that the reasons behind both judges in the case ordering the production of certain documents will become abundantly clear and apparent.

XRP enthusiasts could not keep calm after reading Fred’s tweet. One of the users asked, “Are the docs out already???” Another wrote, “Thank you Fred. Finally the truth about the obnoxious activity within the @SECGov will come to light for all to see.”

Rule 56.1 refers to Rule 56.1 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure in the United States. This rule governs the requirements for presenting facts in summary judgment motions. In summary judgment motions, one party asks the court to decide the case in their favor based on the undisputed facts presented in the motion. Rule 56.1 requires the moving party to include a statement of material facts, supported by specific references to evidence in the record, that are not genuinely in dispute.
