Hey guys its been a decade since Bitcoin first transaction was done. Ok! Do you know who was the first person to transact bitcoin?

Probably your answer is no !!

Let me tell you, it was Satoshi Nakamoto, an unknown person or group thought to be behind the idea of blockchain technology.

Since then many people have self-claimed to be True satoshi. Recently to join them is Craig Wright, the Australian scientist and Bitcoin SV creator.

According to Craig Wright, he is Satoshi Nakamoto — the founder of Bitcoin. Craig Wright’s Bitcoin participation lies in his investment into cryptocurrency exchanges, wallets and other businesses related to those technologies.

In 2015,  two publications Wired Magazine and Gizmodo published articles about the possibility that Craig Wright might be the creator of Bitcoin.

Soon Wright “admitted” that actually he was deeply involved in the development of the world’s first cryptocurrency BTC along with his deceased friend ‘Dave Kleiman’.

Wired Magazine even went on to publish some of the deleted blog posts from Wright’s personal site, cached documents and also an e-mail correspondence with editors and his associates as proof, but experts were still unconvinced and demanded further evidence.

To prove himself Wright produced some new evidence, like screenshots of his terminal and Satoshi’s public key from a very early block. But, security researcher ‘Dan Kaminsky’, after examining the supporting documents, dismissed Wright’s claim. And according to Bitcoin developer ‘Jeff Garzik’, evidence provided by Wright proves absolutely nothing.

Just Two actions would prove Craig is Nakamoto;  one he could conduct a bitcoin transaction using Nakamoto’s private key or he can just cryptographically “sign” a message using the same set of keys. But, when Wright was asked to do prove suing above method he became nervous and gave an explanation

“I believed I could do this and  I believed that I could put the years of anonymity and hiding behind me. But, as the events took place this week,  I prepared to publish the proof of access to the earliest keys, I broke down. I do not have the courage. I cannot.”

Another incident came,  when Billionaire Calvin Ayre is claimed that Craig Wright,  is allegedly filing lawsuits against those “falsely denying he is Satoshi.”  Calvin Ayre tweeted

The tweet from Ayre came after  Craig Wright’s removal from Twitter, a social site Wright often used to create controversy and silence experts questioning his claim.

But when Craig Wright sent a notice against a twitter user named Hodlonaut, It created a uproar in the crypto world. Hodlonaut has called Craig wright a fraud , sad and pathetic scammer. Wright even offered $5000 reward to whoever discloses the identity of Hodlonaut.

Due to this increased pressure, hodlonaut deleted all his tweets. But soon the crypto world came in support of Hodlonaut with various hashtags trending #weareallHodlonaut.

One of the team from the top crypto exchange ‘Binance’  rallied against Craig Wright, CEO of binance exchange, Changpeng Zhao said “Craig Wright is not Satoshi” and also threatened to delist Bitcoin SV coin from Binance platform which is mainly backed by Craig Wright and Calvin Ayre.

Binance CEO gave hints how to identify the real satoshi

Anthony Pompliano, Founder & Partner – Morgan Creek Digital Assets came forward to his support to Zhao:

Next was the founder of Tron foundation Justin sun who twitted #weareallHodlonaut.

Later, Crypto Expert and founder of Mcafee foundation, John McAfee revealed he knows “the true identity of Satoshi” and he is 100% sure it is not Craig Wright. Moreover, McAfee said that in the coming few weeks, he will bring out bit-by-bit  info about who kicked off the crypto revolution.

After Binance delist Bitcoin sv, craig wright call binance a money laundering bucket shop and Mcafee a conman.

After Binance, a lot of exchanges started to delist Bitcoin sv from their platform. Some of the exchanges like Kraken, koinex and  bitforex to name a few delists BSV coin.

However,  According to Jon Matonis, a former board member of the Bitcoin Foundation, and Gavin Andresen, one of Bitcoin’s earliest programmers they have privately seen actual proof that Wright was Nakamoto. When Andresen was contacted, he described the method Wright used to convince him, telling us at the time that he was “still convinced [Wright’s] Satoshi despite the really weird proof he’s put in his blog post,” but admitts “it’s certainly possible I was bamboozled.”

After few days when craig wright was sidelined, as the crypto world came together.

He issued letter on his website where he apologized. He said Wright isn’t brave enough to continue with the effort to prove he is Satoshi. Nowhere does he admit that he isn’t Bitcoin’s creator; rather, he apologizes to Andresen and Jon Matonis for the damage has done to their reputations because of  his flawed attempt at putting “years of anonymity behind” him.

He ends the letter with the words, “And goodbye.”

According to crypto experts, Craig has neither produced any evidence which can be prove him to be real satoshi. The basic evidence would be to digitally sign the message. Craig has time to time made excuses or produced fake evidences. So It is still a mystery to the world who is real Satoshi nakamoto. Till then read our other interesting stories
