Planetarium Labs, a community-driven web3 gaming company that raised $32 million in a Series A funding round led by Animoca Brands, has announced the launch of the Closed Beta Test (CBT) registration process for the Immortal Rising 2, a mobile-based dark fantasy RPG game. According to the announcement, the CBT period for the Immortal Rising 2 started on June 5 and will end on Tuesday, June 18, 2024. As a result, Planetarium Labs has invited web3 gaming enthusiasts to participate in the CBT event that will shape the future of Immortal Rising 2.
Furthermore, the lucky participants of the Immortal Rising 2’a CBT will be rewarded with in-game items that can be redeemed after the official launch of the web3 game. Meanwhile, the official date for the CBT launch will be communicated later after a successful registration process.

Planetarium Labs announced that it will continue to refine and enhance the Immortal Rising 2 until it reaches the standards of the Nine Chronicles. Planetarium Labs is the face behind the Nine Chronicles game, which has attracted more than 119k Unique Active Wallets (UAW) and facilitated over 14 million transactions in the past month alone.
The development of Immortal Rising 2 is a crucial milestone in transitioning from its predecessor that crashed web2 platforms. Moreover, the web2 idle RPG game from South Korea has registered more than 2 million downloads and attracted over $12 million in revenue in its debut year.
Gaming veterans are developing Immortal Rising 2 from Riot Games, NCS Soft, Immortal Rising 1, Nine Chronicles, and Dave and Diver. Through merging web2 and web3, Immortal Rising 2 intends to onboard millions of players in the long haul amid the ongoing mass adoption of digital assets.
