KEY3.id, a Decentralized Naming System based on the Ethereum chain initiated Blue-Chip NFT bound domain name voting campaign on December 5th and generated great social buzz in many Blue-Chip NFT communities. After 4 days of intense competition, Mimic Shhans community ranks top with 1059 votes, making .mimic DID available for minting immediately.

The second round of voting will start at 20:00 (UTC+8) on December 8th, and will continue to accrue votes on top of the previous vote count. The current top ranks are .mfer, .punk and .doodle. All holders of the corresponding Blue-Chip NFT and .did domain users are eligible to vote, and those who voted in the first round will be able to continue voting in the new round.

According to the official announcement, Blue-Chip NFT bound domain names have the support of BitKeep Wallet and the Game Space App, by means not only .mimic but also .bayc and other Blue- Chip NFT bound domain names will be able to use BitKeep wallet to access 70 different main chains, with over 220,000 different cryptocurrency assets and to store and manage NFTs. Blue-Chip bound domain names can also be used for ID, sending and transfer tokens, social networking,  airdrops and other Web3 scenarios.

Kory Park, CEO of KEY3.id said,

“After the success of .bayc launch, we are excited to announce that .mimc is now available for DID minting. The active engagement in the community and intense competition we saw from the first round of voting means that people agree with the value of Asset Bound Token.”

A Mimic Shhans NFT holder states,” One of the most valuable features about Blue-Chip NFT bound domain names is Asset Bound Token. Not only can it provide NFT holders with a recognizable DID but also ensures the reliability of your DID and truly represents Asset as your DID (asset as identity). With this added value, I can now prove that I am the true holder of the NFT

Asset Bound Token (ABT) is one of the key features of KEY3.id ‘s premium DIDs. ABT follows the NFT, making the DID in a more serious matter, in which it cannot be traded separately, and once the NFT has been transferred or traded, its corresponding DID will also be destroyed.

Micheal Cameron, CEO of Game Space (Michael Cameron 6669.bayc) and former Huobi Global CEO 0xLivio (2883.bayc), both have minted for .bayc domain names and changed their twitter account names accordingly. Cameron quoted, “.bayc combines the uniqueness of short digit domains and the numeric features of Bored Ape and only BAYC NFT holders can claim it, which can effectively reflect the assets of DID holders. .bayc is expected soon to become the most sought-after DID , and may even drive up the price of BAYC NFT, especially favorable to the ones who possess great numbers. “

Currently, through community voting KEY3.id will support the DIDs of 20 other Blue Chip NFT bound domain names such as .punk, .doodle and .mfer etc. With the popularity of DID still rising even in the bear market, Blue-Chip NFT bound domain names have a great outlook in breaking the circle. It is worth noting that the vast majority of NFT PFP collections are numbered, especially those of Blue-Chip NFT items such as, BAYC, Azuki, Clone X and Moonbirds and there is only a fixed supply of 10,000 four-digit premium domain names, hence Asset as your DID are not only rare but also worth collecting.

Kory Pak added that the recent Blue-Chip bound domain names released will support the bounding with public chain addresses such as BSC and TRON, which will make it much easier for users who regularly do transactions to and from “on-chain wallets <-> exchanges”.

At this stage, .bayc and other Blue-Chip NFT premium domain names already have support from Bitkeep Wallet and Game Space App. Soon it will align partnership with KuCoin Wallet, iToken Wallet, Bybit, Coinhub Wallet, ONTO Wallet, Assure Wallet, Element.market and other industry leading wallets, DeFi, exchanges, DAO organizations and more to build an organic network for the DID sector.
