Trezor Data Breach Exposes Personal Details of Nearly 14,000 Crypto Users

Published by

Trezor said a data breach at its shipping provider exposed personal information belonging to nearly 14,000 customers. The data included names, email addresses, phone numbers and shipping addresses for 11,742 users, while another 1,947 had partial information exposed. Trezor said its own systems and hardware wallets were not compromised, and private keys remain safe. However, the leaked information could increase the risk of phishing, social engineering and physical security threats, as attackers can link users’ identities and addresses to their crypto holdings.
