In a latest development, Semler Scientific has acquired 237 BTC for $23.3 million at $98,267 each, raising its total holdings to 2,321 BTC worth $191.9 million. The purchase was made at an average cost of $98,267 per Bitcoin, including all charges. Notably, Semler Scientific used an at-the-market (ATM) offering and operational funds to invest in Bitcoin, raising $121.8 million by January 10, 2025, through a sales agreement with Cantor Fitzgerald. The program was expanded by $50 million in December 2024, allowing the company to issue more shares for strategic investments, supporting its ability to grow its Bitcoin holdings. Additionally, from July 2024 to January 2025, the company achieved a BTC yield of 99.3%, demonstrating the effectiveness of its Bitcoin strategy.
