Ripple and BNY have expanded their strategic partnership to support institutional digital asset custody and explore tokenized trade finance on the XRP Ledger (XRPL). BNY now supports XRP and Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin on its Digital Asset Custody platform. The companies also plan to explore RLUSD minting and redemption through BNY and expand support for tokenized assets issued on XRPL. Ripple and BNY are also exploring a supply chain finance initiative with C2FO to improve investor access to trade finance assets, including approved receivables. The collaboration aims to improve payment, settlement and collateral processes for institutional clients.
