MARA, the world’s largest publicly traded Bitcoin miner, sold about 23,093 BTC for $1.63 billion during the first half of 2026, at an average price of roughly $70,631 per Bitcoin. The company said it used the proceeds for operations, growth opportunities and liquidity needs. As of June 30, MARA held 35,577 BTC, worth about $2.08 billion. Separately, the company secured $600 million in loans from Coinbase and Two Prime, backed by 18,750 BTC, with part of the financing used to fund its Long Ridge acquisition.
