Ethereum Earns $2.48 Billion in Fees, Solana Grows 2,838% in 2024 Blockchain Revenue

In 2024, blockchains raked in over $6.9 billion from transaction fees. Ethereum led the pack with $2.48 billion, followed by Tron at $2.15 billion. Bitcoin earned $922.89 million, while Solana saw massive growth, jumping to $750.65 million. Tron and Solana grew the fastest, with Solana’s fees soaring by 2,838%. Layer 2 solutions like Base also gained traction, earning $84.78 million. Despite the competition, Ethereum remained the top earner, showing its strength as a blockchain leader. This surge in fees highlights the growing adoption and activity across different blockchain networks.
