In an attempt to become a global blockchain powerhouse, Dubai has announced the construction of a 17-storey Crypto Tower to adapt to the growing blockchain and Web3 technology. Strikingly, the Crypto Tower will boast 150,000 square feet of leasable space for the Web3 community to build projects. The UAE is working to become a global hub for blockchain technology, competing with the US for the title of the world’s leading blockchain center. The 17-storey Crypto Tower will be situated at the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) region. The DMCC, Dubai’s international business district, is set to attract crypto businesses as part of the UAE’s push to advance blockchain technology. The ambitious project is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2027.
