The cryptocurrency market witnessed massive liquidations as prices of digital assets fell sharply. According to CoinGlass data, $483.61 million was liquidated across exchanges in the past 24 hours, with long positions dominating the sell-off at $342.34 million, compared to $141.34 million in short positions. Ethereum (ETH) led the altcoin liquidations with $86.43 million wiped out as its price dropped 1.31% to $3,317.76. Solana (SOL) saw $16.68 million in total liquidations, heavily skewed towards long positions. XRP faced $14.16 million in liquidations but remained relatively resilient, trading at $2.32 despite a decline in volume.
