Britain’s Reform UK party received £4 million from crypto investor Ben Delo, accounting for 75% of its donations last quarter. Delo pleaded guilty to a US banking secrecy violation in 2022 tied to his crypto firm BitMEX, before being pardoned by Trump last year. Reform raised £5.3 million total in the April-June quarter, more than rival parties but down from over £9 million in each of the previous two quarters. The party disclosed no donations from its biggest backer, crypto entrepreneur Christopher Harborne, whose undisclosed £5 million gift to leader Nigel Farage in 2024 is now under parliamentary investigation. Farage denies wrongdoing.
