Bitcoin Price Today – September 8th

Published by

Bitcoin price fell 1.55% to $78,564.71 in 24 hours, slipping below $79,000 as strong U.S. jobs data and higher Treasury yields increased pressure on risk assets. Short-term whales are holding about $9.07 billion in unrealized profits, while leveraged long liquidations added to selling pressure. Bitcoin was also rejected near the $80,500 resistance level. The $78,000 support remains key. A break below it could push BTC toward $77,200, while holding the level may support consolidation. Traders are watching the August CPI report on September 11 for the next major catalyst.
