Bitcoin fell to $77,645.56, down 1.2% over 24 hours, after President Trump confirmed US military strikes on Iranian targets near the Strait of Hormuz, warning Iran against retaliation. According to The Kobeissi Letter, US officials confirmed the strikes are underway, sending oil prices surging. Brent crude is nearing $95 a barrel, while US crude prices are climbing toward $90, marking their highest level since July 24. The escalation is weighing on risk assets broadly, with Bitcoin tracking the pullback as investors shift toward caution amid fresh geopolitical uncertainty in a critical oil transit corridor.
