Bitcoin’s rally has coincided with heavy BTC outflows from Binance. The exchange recorded more than 13,800 BTC in net outflows in a single day, its largest since 2023. Over four days, Binance’s BTC reserves fell from 705,000 to 685,000 BTC. Weekly netflows have averaged about -2,000 BTC. The decline in exchange-held Bitcoin may reduce available selling supply, while the outflows suggest more investors are moving BTC into self-custody. Binance holds about 30% of Bitcoin available across major platforms.
