However, the attacker’s subsequent token swap lacked sufficient slippage protection and was sandwiched by an MEV bot, significantly reducing the proceeds. As a result, the attacker reportedly received only about 67 WETH, worth roughly $129,000, instead of the full value of the stolen funds.
