Terra Employee Steals 80 Bitcoins, Detains South Korean Police

The Luna Foundation Guard's Bitcoin reserves, which were retained to support the UST stablecoin's stability, appear to have been tampered with by the employee.

The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency arrested a Terraform Labs employee for stealing 80 bitcoins worth over $2.39 million.

It's still questionable whether Do Kwon or any other Terra employees were involved in the money laundering scheme. South Korean authorities are presently investigating Terra and its all  employees.

The police started their investigation in mid-May, and they asked for the money to be blocked at domestic exchanges. However, because of the involvement of an international exchange, issuing a warrant takes time.
