Despite the impending release of Shibarium, Sydney Ifergan, a crypto influencer, is thinking to sell all of his Shiba Inu (SHIB) tokens.
According to Ifergan's tweet, many investors no longer believe in the long-term prospects of SHIB.
Steven Cooper, the CEO of Larger Entertainment, said that SHIB was a pyramid scheme because there were no burned tokens and the SHIB team had actually accomplished anything.
CEO of Solidity.io Alex McCurry referred to Dogecoin and SHIB as "trash."
Some members of the development community have attacked SHIB's principal developer, Shytoshi Kusama, for lowering the project's level of decentralization.
