After Crypto Crisis, Skybridge Investors Desires To Withdraw Funds

Investors have asked to withdraw about $800m from the firm's flagship fund, says the New York Times reports.

Anthony Scaramucci’s Skybridge Capital is facing a wave of redemptions as investors try to pull money from the firm’s funds, which have been hit hard by the rout in cryptocurrencies.

Earlier this week, Bloomberg reported that the New York-based asset manager had gated redemptions from a $230m fund, Legion Strategies, that is heavily invested in cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin is down about 50% for the year to date, with ether down about 57%.
