Altcoins Watch: Pi Coin Breaks 2-Month Streak, Moo Deng Soars 540%!

With the crypto market showing signs of stability, memecoins and emerging altcoins have been stealing the spotlight with impressive price gains. Among such tokens this week are Moo Deng (MOO) and Pi Coin (PI). While Moo Deng has gained attention following its listing, Pi Coin has reclaimed its long-lost support at $1. In this price analysis, we give you the short-term outlook of these two coins.

Pi Coin (PI)

Pi Coin price has risen to $1.31, which makes its first return above the $1 mark in nearly 2 months. That’s not all, a 125% weekly gain indicates strong bullish sentiment, backed by a 96% surge in its intraday trading volume. Its market cap now stands at $9.46 billion, highlighting Pi’s growing influence in the altcoin space.

The technicals show strength, as the PI price is well above all key short and mid-term moving averages. However, the RSI at 84 warns of overbought conditions, signaling a potential short-term correction. That being said, the key resistance levels lie at $1.50 and $2, while the immediate support is at $1.12, a break below which could lead to $0.90.

Moo Deng (MOO)

Moo Deng, a memecoin based on Solana, has caught the attention of the market with an explosive 540% weekly gain. The shoot-up was largely fueled by its listing on Binance Alpha, which alone triggered a 114% surge. Currently trading at $0.2455, the coin is showing signs of short-term momentum, with a 24-hour trading volume exceeding $1 billion.

A continued bullish momentum could lead the price to $0.2908, and sustaining the pace could further propel the price to $0.3127. However, a downturn could bring the price down to $0.2022.

FAQs

Is Moo Deng a good investment?

Given its memecoin nature and recent hype around the Binance Alpha listing, the rally may face sharp pullbacks. Investors may look out for a retest of support around $0.20–$0.18.

Is Pi Coin a good long-term investment?

Pi Coi can be a good buy for the long term, considering its fundamentals and growing community.

Which coin is riskier: Moo Deng or Pi?

Moo Deng is riskier due to its memecoin status and speculative surge. Pi Coin, though also volatile, takes advantage of its more technical and community-driven structure.
