You can tell how much potential an ICO has to increase in value by looking at the problem it’s solving. If the project is creating a solution to a problem, then the value will be determined by the amount of money people are spending on that problem right now. If the project isn’t solving any problem, then it has no value and won’t increase in price over time.

With this in mind, investors have been focusing on three projects in particular in the crypto space. These are The Sandbox (SAND), Helium (HNT) and Orbeon Protocol (ORBN), which is notably set to surge by over 6000% in presale.

How Do I Define a Good Coin?

First and foremost, you need to answer a simple question: what is your objective? If you’re looking for a coin that you can use on a day-to-day basis, then utility coins are likely where it’s at.

But if you’re looking to invest long term then projects with good fundamentals could have more staying power.

Orbeon Protocol (ORBN)

Orbeon protocol is a decentralized investment platform that is changing the face of the crowdfunding and venture capital industries by allowing ordinary people to participate in the early stages of a number of promising and innovative companies.

On Orbeon Protocol, start-ups will be able to acquire funding and participate with their community by giving incentive and equity-based NFTs. Using NFTs and fractionalization, every investment opportunity will be accessible to everybody with as little as a single dollar.

The Orbeon platform also allows investors access to a platform where they can get vetted genuine companies that are currently looking to raise funds.

Investors will also know which cryptocurrency projects to invest in. The platform offers an NFT-as-a-service (NFTaaS) service that helps businesses to raise funds fast and cheaply while engaging with their communities.

In terms of investment security, Orbeon Protocol offers a Fill or Kill mechanism which ensures that any investor can get back his or her money if the project they invested in fails to take off because it didn’t raise the needed funds. The Fill or Kill mechanism is written in the smart contract and cannot be altered.

Other key features of Orbeon Protocol include the ORBN native utility token. Used across the ecosystem, ORBN grants holders staking bonuses, governance rights and much more. During presale, ORBN has increase in price from $0.004 to $0.014 in a matter of weeks, and experts predict this could continue to $0.24.

Helium (HNT)

Helium (HNT) is an Internet of Things (IoT) network built on the blockchain. Data is sent between devices and nodes in the network using helium technology.

In the Helium network, the individual nodes (or “Hotspots”) that make up the system are referred to by the same name.

Helium Hotspots use LoRaWAN to reach large areas of the public internet. When using a platform like Helium, you may connect to the cloud-based LoRaWAN protocol. This feature has damaged the accessibility of the Helium platform, but many hope that with further development, Helium will see more widespread usage.

The Sandbox (SAND)

The Sandbox is one of the earliest well-recognized blockchain metaverses, alongside Decentraland. The Sandbox’s NFTs, simply termed LAND, are virtual parcels of land that can be bought and sold, and on which users can build games, virtual worlds, and host an event among other things.

What Problem Does the Coin Solve?

When investing in cryptocurrencies, it’s important to take a step back and ask yourself what problem the coin actually solves.

For example, is your currency secure? Does it provide fast transaction times for all parties involved?

Can it scale globally, or does its design constrain it to a specific geographic area? Is there an active team behind development, or are they just launching on an exchange and walking away from their product?

In the case of Orbeon Protocol (ORBN), the real-world use cases certainly seem to add weight to the project’s utility. Investor demand for ORBN has surged in recent weeks, with a 260% price increase since the beginning of presale.
