On June 11th – 15th, Blockchain India hosted a DApp event – India Dapp Fest – 2019. This is the first biggest Blockchain Conference in India held in Bengaluru. Hackathon Workshop was held first 3 days and the next two days was about the Blockchain Conference. Coinpedia was a part of IDF as a media partner. During the event, one of our journalists took an exclusive interview of Sandeep Nailwal – Co-founder of Matic Network.
Our journalist asked a few questions related to matic network and its role in crypto industry. Here I represented the interview in an article format!
Can you tell us more about MaticNetwork?
MaticNetwork is a Layer 2 scaling solution that achieves scale by utilizing side chains for off-chain computation while ensuring asset security using the Plasma framework and a decentralized network of Proof-of-Stake (PoS) validators. Matic aims to be the de-facto platform on which developers will deploy and run decentralized applications.
Where is the Matic Network team based out of?
The Matic Network team is based out of Navi Mumbai India, and we currently have team members working remotely as well. We aim to have our team distributed across the globe and we also have daily standup calls to discuss progress and plan action items.
What are the Future projects of matic network ?
We have recently announced partnerships with Celer Network, Decentraland, and GetNuo. There are many more to come in the DeFi and gaming category. You might also see the adoption of the matic network in Quarters, chainbreak,bankit and cryptostraw. But you’ll have to wait for the official announcement for more details.
