A news rolls out – WikiHow which is a good source of information to a vast category of users online is partnering with Civic (the blockchain startup). In order to boost login security for its users, the companies are bonding their relationship. Both companies stated “partnership will enable WikiHow offering a new method of swapping user’s old login method exclusive for their Civic’s Mobile App. Key fact/reason behind this feature is that it allows users to avoid following up with the credentials of account which are sometimes risk to handle.

“The simple, quick process verifies Personally Identifiable Information (PII) to ensure ownership of the identity and establish the required level of trust. The data is fully encrypted in the Civic app on users’ devices, not stored by Civic or wikiHow,”.
Though the partnership relies on recent successful ICO which has raised $33million. Further, the company has gained a good funding by venture capitalist (as $2.75illion). It is including support from an investor’s group covering Pantera Capital, Blockchain Capital, and Digital currency group.
