In a series of tweets, Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, called the new hard fork of Bitcoin Cash (BCH) a pure dumpster fire. Ethereum’s co-founder made these comments in an online Twitter debate. The debate was held with cryptocurrency commentator and businessman Tuur Demeester on Christmas Day.

Buterin’s View On PoW And Pos

During the discussion, Buterin spoke on the positives and negatives of Proof-of-Work (PoW) and Proof-of-Stake (PoS). These two algorithms are normally used by cryptocurrency developers in building their assets. When asked about his opinion on Bitcoin SV, Buterin declared his disagreement. But, he remains optimistic about the kind of technology that is being developed. Unfortunately, he does not share the same perspective for Bitcoin SV.
