Do You Know What Was The Buzz Created During The Token 2049 Event?

It is quite rare to see any competitors showing interest in their fellow mates. One such example is the TRON founder, Justin Sun, showed much interest in Ethereum Founder, Vitalik Buterin. More likely, this appeared as Justin was regularly mentioning Buterin’s handle on Twitter a lot.

During Token 2049 which is a cryptocurrency event in Hong Kong, Justin Sun seemed to have interrupted Buterin’s live speech. Basically, the event aimed to spread Blockchain in the country.

While Vitalik was speaking in the event, Justin entered the room, accompanying another person who dressed up as an avocado covered in TRON. Mainly, this was in trailing reference to Vitalik’s tweet where he mentioned avocados while clarifying BitTorrent.

The tweet read:

That interview was from Aug 2017. Tron acquired bittorrent in July 2018. My praise for bittorrent had nothing to do with Tron. This is like implying that because I like avocados, I approve of everyone who has ever bought an avocado.

Even after all this, either Vitalik didn’t notice Justin and his grimmick or he intentionally did not pay any attention. Most of them thought it was rude.

Decrypt asked Justin about his Grimmick, where he replied saying

I do not think that Ethereum is ready for a change to Proof of Stake at all…Even for a year or more, Ethereum won’t be ready for a proof of stake (integration) at all.

He further elaborated that Ethereum’s newly upgraded Constantinople leaves many of them questioned. As it has also left miners and developers quite uncertain on how to proceed. During all this, the avocado-man remained silent and moved ahead with Justin.
