Tezos is the Highest Performing Crypto as per YTD Data with 160% Surge

At the brink of November, Crypto Analysts are jumping to analyze the YTD crypto market performances in 2019. Although 2019 has been a bit of disappointing for the crypto market, however, some cryptos have performed exceptionally. 

Crypto Investor Alistair Milne has charted the YTD performance of some cryptos for reference. Based on his analysis, Tezos has performed 160% better in 2019 than in 2018. 

Let us check the Coinmarketcap graph of Tezos. 

Tezos is in the 15th position as per the market capitalization. The coin has seen its highs and lows in the current year. In Jan 2019, Tezos’s price was around $0.46 USD. XTZ/USD price, as of writing, is $1.26 USD with November recording highest 24 hr trading volume. The market cap also has seen steady growth since the beginning of the year. Earlier this month, Tezos price increased with 30% surge.

However, the year 2018 has been a disappointing year for Tezos. As seen in the price chart, XTZ began 2018 at $4.52 USD but slid down to $0.5 till December. Also, the market cap of Tezos was the bare minimum first half of the year. July 2018 saw a sudden spike in market cap increasing to $1,310,250,632 USD as this was the time XTZ was released for trading. 

Along with Tezos, even Bitcoin has performed 92% better in 2019, while Litecoin performed 48%. However, Stellar has decreased by 48% and ripple by 39% in 2019.
