Vitalik Buterin Says The Next Crypto Adoption Will Not Be Built On Hype

Ethereum’s co-founder, Vitalik Buterin speaks about the evolution of cryptocurrency space in future, during an interview with Smart Valor.

Vitalik Buterin speaks about the next big wave of cryptocurrency in 2019. Buterin is the most admissible personalities in the virtual currency space. He started the conversation with describing how cryptocurrency is moving ahead, remarking it to have “definitely grown a lot”.

Vitalik Buterin feels that blockchain technology and virtual currencies tend to grow every year and currently it has turned to be quite huge. Most of the people are thriving interest in blockchain technology, trying to learn more about the space. The crypto space witnessed a massive progress. He also mentioned that it “seems” to be quite friendly.   

The co-founder also spoke about the price drop, which caused Ethereum to lose its second position. XRP surpassed Ethereum and remained in the same position for quite a long period of time. Also, most of the cryptocurrencies have lost more than half of its value since the beginning of the year.

Thus Vitalik believes that the crypto space requires a lot more of the “actual applications” of technology to move ahead.

Like basically the next wave as of crypto adoption is not going to be built on hype because the hype is basically already come. It has to come from really useful applications and things delivering value to people.

While writing the article, Ethereum accounts to be in the third position among the largest cryptocurrencies in the virtual currency space. With a market capitalization of $11.76 billion and each of the Ethereum currencies are purchased at $113.58.
