LongHash Hatch is basically a 12-week programme targeting to take five blockchain projects within least viable products for the purpose to test. LongHash launches this programmer, which is an international blockchain incubator.
Moreover, they have offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, etc. Enterprise Singapore is showing their support for this programme. However, some selective projects include:
- A cryptocurrency wallet operating with smart contracts
- The digital marketplace with renewable energy trading certificates
- An online protocol utilizing biometrics to confirm identities
As per media release, there are 5 projects selectively for the inaugural batch depending on the business model, market review, industry experience, background of a team and technical expertise. Also, these projects are taken from 50 entries of LongHash recruitment within one month.
One spokesperson says, the selective projects is said to gather support from branding, fund-raising, as well as administration. The director of new industries at Enterprise Singapore, Yeo Meow Ling talks about blockchain. According to him, this is an emerging technology; potentially comfort many industries via its application.
The chief executive at LongHash Singapore, Emma Cui outlines that the generous government support, friendly regulations, along with their vibrant blockchain community at Republic seems to be encouraging for growing projects. Moreover, he adds:
We expect to see Singapore playing a pivotal role in shaping the global blockchain technology landscape and in leading mass adoption of distribution technology.
LongHash hopes to incubate 30 projects within these two years. Additionally, it aims to attract few among the leading blockchain projects to bring regional offices here.
