Binance Should Have Stood Against The U.S. Regulators, Says John McAfee

Recently, John McAfee had an exclusive interview with BeInCrypto. During the interview he mentioned about a few aspects that you should know!

He expressed his thoughts on what freedom means and updated on the development of his official McAfee Freedom Coin. He is also quite confident in Satoshi Nakamoto’s true identity. Also, he is skeptical about the launch of Libra, and vocal about Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao’s decision to ban customers in the United States from using Binance.

While speaking about Binance, McAfee said that Binance should have stood its ground against U.S. regulators and simply said ‘no.’ According to McAfee the U.S. has no control over the exchange.

However McAfee understood why Changpeng Zhao had to bow down to U.S. regulators. This is mainly because “America has a powerful and a long reach”.

McAfee also urges on the need to have decentralised exchanges and privacy coins. According to John McAfee, the end result is “a cryptocurrency industry that is ‘more regulated’ but is losing all the aspects that made it great to begin with.”

For McAfee Freedom means that regulations shouldn’t rule over how we spend our money, where we store our money, and what we choose to do with it. This is partly the reason why he hiding in a bunker at an undisclosed location.
