A black-hat hacker has returned some part of funds who was able to steal $10 million. It was of Ether tokens after compromising an Initial Coin Offerings. CoinDash, a startup of ICO, states on it blog that it has received a total of 10,000 ETH from the hacker’s wallet address. A few days back, on September 12,2017, its official account received 488 Eth sent by hacker.
It suggests on a constant criminal investigation against the hacker that would one reason behind an imprudent renouncement of funds. Even though, startup hasn’t recovered full amount yet and with more possibilities that a huge part of it has spent already.

In a latest update on CoinDash’s blogpost,
“We have notified the Counter Cyber Terrorist Unit in Israel; investigation efforts will increase. The hacker’s Ethereum address will continue to be tracked and monitored for any suspicious activity”.
Previously this year, the institutionalized tokens of CoinDash announces the public sale to fund the development of its social trading platform. The hacker tricked investors into sending Ethers to a fake CoinDash wallet address. As a result, it is causing CoinDash loss of $10 million by misrouting of funds.
Still, a company has not released a formal announcement which could offer more intuitions into the investigation. Meanwhile, CoinDash ICO participants are sure to delight and optimistic for further fund retrievals in future.
