High Times Publications to Be First IPO to Accept Crypto Payments

The High Times, the Cannabis culture and publication become the first ever stock exchange to accept cryptocurrencies during its IPO (Initial Public Offering).

High Times, New-York based well known cannabis and monthly publication were initiated in the year 1974 by Tom Forcade. On August 02, 2018, the company announced that it is the first stock exchange ever to accept investments made in the company via BTC and ETH. Moreover, the present equity-crowdfunding process of accepting cryptocurrencies is under Regulation A+ of the JOBS Act.

CEO of High Times, Adam Levin, believes that;

Now we’re taking another step into the future, not only as one of the first cannabis-related brands to go public on the Nasdaq but also as the first to allow Bitcoin and Ethereum as part of our public capital raise”.

According to the company, the filed Reg. A report conveys $20 million in a reduction if negative equity, debt reduction and decline in operating losses with SEC.
