Elon Musk Recruits Jackson Palmer to Help With Twitter-Bot Scams

Elon Musk among other influential individuals like Vitalik Buterin, John McAfee has fallen prey to the crypto scammers on twitter. These twitter bots aim to woo users by giving away cryptocurrencies.

Elon Musk, Much annoyed 

Elon Musk was amused a few months back on the presence of a sheer number of scam bots present on twitter.

However, his amusement turned to annoyance after the scammers used him as bait for the ongoing crypto-scam. After which the man himself recruited the Dogecoin creator via twitter for help.

DogeCoin creator, Jackson Palmer sent scripts which successfully blocked these cryptocurrency scammers on twitter for Elon Musk.

According to the twitter comment by Jackson Palmer, there was a discussion with Jack Dorsey (CEO of Twitter)  to automate and fix the twitter bot scam issue.

Elon Musk and Cryptocurrency

While Elon Musk hasn’t publicly revealed his plans with cryptocurrency, he was seen with a book Cryptocurrencies Simply Explained by Julian Hosp.

Although Elon Musk is trending on hot topics all over the internet, it wasn’t due to cryptocurrencies. However, the twitter crypto cash scam has baited him into the news.

Like Elon Musk, SpaceX has recently been the hot stuff on the internet, as former SpaceX engineer launches a new institutional cryptocurrency exchange LXDX which is gaining traction with the audience.

Vitalik Buterin, founder of Ethereum Blockchain was also among individuals whose name was taken to run a crypto scam.

Also, a Crypto enthusiast expresses concern in her tweet saying,

John McAfee, a famous crypto-influencer wasn’t spared by the scammers either. In December 2017, his Twitter account hack was in news to influence cryptocurrencies favorable to the hackers. However, after regaining control John McAfee took to twitter and posts;

As more people turn heads towards cryptocurrency, the scammers take this as an opportunity to swindle the investors.
