Interestingly, Bitcoin smart contracts are underway! Yes, you read it right, Bitcoin is all set to enter the world of Smart Contracts very soon. However, with bitcoin, altcoins such as Internet Computer (ICP), Unilayer and Flow protocols are anticipating a big run with new collaborations!

Internet Computer (ICP):

The Internet Computer (ICP) is the world’s first blockchain that facilitates users to create dApps, websites and other web-based services. ICP protocol is on the verge of achieving new milestones. The Dfinity Foundation which owns ICP made an announcement on 22nd September that the protocol is integrating with Bitcoin. Yes, the network is bringing smart contracts capabilities to Bitcoin’s blockchain.

Dfinity Foundation founder Dominic Williams stated,

“Internet Computer smart contracts will gain access to bitcoin liquidity, and Bitcoin will gain powerful new smart contract functionality, without the need for insecure and cumbersome trusted bridging services.”

What does it mean for Bitcoin?

With ICP introducing the DeFi ecosystem to Bitcoin blockchain, traders can use the most valued coin for lending, yield farming, derivatives, liquidity pools, and more.

This update is scheduled to launch by the year’s end. Once it comes into effect, with Bitcoin price, the ICP protocol has a great chance to reach new milestones.

Unilayer (LAYER):

The platform is a new generation decentralised trading platform built on top of Uniswap. Moreover, the protocol recently came up with an exciting announcement regards to the platform’s integration with Cardano smart contracts.

Yes, that’s true! As per the recent reports, Unilayer announces that the platform aims to expand all their DeFi tools to the Cardano chain and deploy all their smart contracts on the Alonzo hard fork

The platform recently released a trailer on Gaia, the Unilayer ecosystem official metaverse game. The interesting part is Unilayer is preparing to distribute 15 million Gaia tokens via an Airdrop on October 31st, 2021. Check out the eligibility criteria. Moreover, the top 100 holders will be rewarded Gaia Elite NFT.

With so many collaborations and upgrades coming on its way, Unilayer is one of the tokens to watch out for in the coming days!

Flow (FLOW):

Flow is one of the innovative projects, created as the foundation for a new generation of DeFi apps and games. Dapper labs which own the FLOW protocol, on September 22nd, announced on Twitter that the team raised $250 million from existing investors. With this Dapper Labs is said to reach a total of $7.6 billion valuations.

Additionally, on the same day, the platform also partnered with Spain’s top soccer league. This step is in order to launch a soccer NFT marketplace, which will feature digital collectables from the league’s 20 teams.

In the coming days, these collaborations and developments have the potential to take the Flow price to the moon. However, ongoing FUD is not new to the crypto space. These mind-blowing technologies have the strong potential to bring revolutionary changes to the ecosystem.
