A New Blockchain Security Center Comes Into Existence By Kudelski Security

This new Blockchain Security Center initiative by Kudelski Security is said to accelerate transparent and secure adoption of blockchain technology.

The news source mentions that Scott Carlson, a new Blockchain Business Leader along with JP Aumasson, a popular cryptographer is supporting this project.

The firm Kudelski Security is a cybersecurity division from the Kudelski Group. Recently, the company announced its new Blockchain Security Center aka BSC which will be accessible to its cryptography expertise and make this project a rapid evolving initiative for the blockchain developer community.

Exploring the security services at the platform, the new BSC will offer new services.  They provide a concrete roadmap to encourage the foundational technologies. It will help integrate security within blockchain solutions for enterprises, public and private sectors.

Today, everyone is aware of the tech blockchain which holds the potential that can create new effective avenues, revolutionize business capabilities, and supercharge technology apps throughout industries.

Experts have seen the applications operating on this tech are accelerating, and Gartner predicts the blockchain working business will hit $3.1 trillion worth by 2030. Considering the BSC announcement, the CEO at Kudelski Security, Rich Fennessy states:

Enterprises are exploring the technology in earnest, and new blockchain-based solutions are being developed every day. Leveraging our cryptography expertise and experience in blockchain security consulting, we have made it our mission to improve blockchain security so that emerging solutions enhance overall enterprise cybersecurity, rather than generate new vulnerabilities.

Since 30-year’s of experience within the cryptographic design right from silicon till the software and innovation development. Few previous works incorporating this space are

  • Public blockchain coin development, design, and implementation
  • Point of sale technology development
  • Detailed audits of application code
  • Protocol creation
  • Cryptographic algorithms for huge industry players regarding cryptocurrency
  • Digital communications along with IoT markets

The latest efforts in innovation that are publicly available are:

  1. Wire cryptography core and client application audits
  2. IoHK Icarus Cardano wallet and ETC wallet audits
  3. Tangem Smart Card Wallet Code audit
  4. Monero Bulletproofs protocol integration assessment

Talking about the contribution and efforts within this technological revolution, the founder and CTO at Tangem, Andrey Kurennykh notes:

The Kudelski Security team played an important role in auditing every aspect of our smartcard wallet code. With their defense-in-depth approach to security, they provided in a timely and professional way, the adequate defenses to deliver our solution to the market with confidence.

The Kudelski BSC aims to establish a suite of full-stack enterprise blockchain security recommendations which consists of expanding cryptographic solutions. They will present developer tools for supporting blockchain ecosystem.

They believe that this solution might boost up the confidence of investors, officers, engineers, and blockchain developers as a whole to design, develop and run safer apps with the use of this new exclusive technology.

Scott Carlson is the former director at PayPal and CISO ay Sweetbridge, and spearhead at Kudelski Security. According to him,

It’s a myth that blockchain is inherently secure. While transactions on a blockchain are protected by proven mathematics, security is quite often forgotten and not necessarily integrated into the associated applications, processes, systems and technology. This is where we come in.

He believes that they are helping the firms to work within digital finance; communications along with IoT industry, protecting their products with the entire use of tested methodologies and approaches.

They intend to boost up the performance and trust amongst the end user. They not only analyze the code; cooperate with a complete set of components specifying an ecosystem regarding end-users, manufacturers, enterprises, and Code-creators as a whole.
