Bitpay Volume surpasses of 328% today
In Bitcoin payments, Bitpay is ahead to process $1 bln per year. Noticeably, its annual growth is combines of 328%.
According to the Monday blog post, the flagship Bitcoin payments gateway said it had seen a “major growth” in the last year. Particularly, the majority of activity is stemming from its US market.
The company confirms,
“We’re now on pace to process over $1 bln annually in Bitcoin payment acceptance and payouts, and we’ve already grown our payments dollar volume 328 percent year-over-year from 2016”.
This year BitPay announcing exclusive partnerships like multimillion-dollar Dubai Aston Plaza real estate project with the UK’s Baroness Mone. However, with over $4000 remaining bitcoin, business is booming for merchants globally increased regulatory clarity. Therefore, there is a drastic effort from Japanese to increase its merchants’ acceptance of Bitcoin is sustainable.

BitPay commented on the growth in the sector,
“Merchants in the Asia-Pacific region now receive a significant portion of our monthly transactions”.
However, announcement of Bitcoin acceptance by major corporations remain few. This week, a rumor that Amazon would finally begin accepting the virtual currency was disclosed as fake news.
