Bitcoin SV Deposits and Withdrawals Now Open at Bitfinex Exchange
Bitfinex said on a post on its website that as of 9 AM UTC November 28, 2018, it would enable deposits and withdrawals for BSV (Bitcoin SV). The exchange revealed that users would be able to generate new BSV deposit addresses on the platform. It urged that every BSV deposits require the generation of a new deposit address prior to use.
The exchanged however warned that in the meantime it would not support replay deposits. It urged users to take extra precaution to ensure that their transfers are split and that only the token that they wish to deposit is transferred. The exchange supports both Bitcoin ABC and Bitcoin SV.
“Please take extra care when making any BAB/BSV transfers and ensure that you are using both the correct address and token. If you are unsure as to what the above means, please contact email@example.com prior to initiating the transaction.” Bitfinex said on the blog post.

Bitcoin SV is trading in pairs with BTC and USD on the platform. Additional trading pairs for Bitcoin SV and Bitcoin ABC is expected to be added in the nearby future. Many other exchanges already list both the Bitcoin ABC and Bitcoin SV tokens on their platforms. Although the hard fork was originally intended to upgrade the network, Bitcoin SV split from the ABC.
Other Exchanges Listing Bitcoin SV
Following the successful fork and the subsequent split in the Bitcoin Cash Network, many exchanges list both the Bitcoin SV and the ABC. Recently Binance announced that all eligible users have now received both BCH ABC and BCH SV tokens. By the time of the listing bitcoin, ABC had already mined 34 blocks more than SV.
Both the Bitfinex and Poloniex exchanges have also said they have made the shift to the new cryptocurrencies.
“We’ve finished converting all BCH balances to BCHABC and BCHSV. The BCH market is now disabled. BCHABC/BTC, BCHSV/BTC, BCHABC/USDC, and BCHSV/USDC markets are open. Deposits and withdrawals of BCHABC and BCHSV are still paused, and will remain paused until the networks stabilize.”
