Binance Will Remove Selected API Endpoints

One of the leading cryptocurrency exchange, Binance announced to stop services for selected API endpoints.


As per the blog post, Binance Exchange will remove following API endpoints starting from 2019/08/31 23:59 (UTC)

  • GET api/v1/order
  • GET api/v1/openOrders
  • POST api/v1/order
  • DELETE api/v1/order
  • GET api/v1/allOrders
  • GET api/v1/account
  • GET api/v1/myTrades

The platform claim that, Streams, endpoints, parameters, payloads, etc. described in the documents in this repository are considered official and supported. Also,the use of any other streams, endpoints, parameters, or payloads, etc. is not supported. The firm also warns users to use them at their own risk with no guarantees.

According to a blog post, users who are currently using the above API endpoints, must ensure to leave sufficient time to change or migrate to other endpoints to not affect their normal trading. Hence, Binance recommends to use the GET api/v3 endpoint. 

On the other hand, Binance exchange just completed the system up-gradation scheduled for 2019/08/15 02:00 AM (UTC). Following the upgrade, Binance introduced the most awaited feature. Eventually, the iOS Application now supports the platform.
