One of the startups called 21 Inc. has rebranded the name as Earn.com as per the company blog post released effectively today.
By using Earn.com, one can make money online by responding to emails and completing tasks.
Hence, the startup also confirmed to issue a token that may replace Bitcoin as the currency.
Last week, the company released notification to the customers that it had stopped to provide the support for the Bitcoin Computer.
Bitcoin computer was the first consumer product of 21’s flagship product name as the pocket-size mining device, which initially retails for $400.
CEO Balaji Srinivasan said in an interview with CoinDesk that the new name provides people “as a feasible way to understand the intention of the company.”
The benefit for users over the popular social media networks like Twitter, he said:
“You’re not just wasting time, you’re making money”.
According to the company, its users can earn money in several ways.
They can receive a paid message by creating a public profile; Connect with the people with the similar skills (e.g. Python programmers) to obtain “microtasks” such as completing surveys.
Or else they can set an autoreply on their email reassuring senders who don’t know how to do response.
According to Srinivasan, the company has enough of capital left. The fundraising is not the main purpose of the forthcoming token issuance.

The token is created to attract users to participate in the network. Users can earn tokens just by signing up for the platform and getting verified, and the token is rewarded for doing so.
After receiving that rewards for joining, users can be able to earn additional tokens by replying emails. Also performing tasks, the way they earn Bitcoin presently.
The note said,
“Going forward, we’re going to be putting all our energy into that product and the corresponding token launch … because we think the ability to earn digital currency by replying to emails and completing tasks will be one of the most useful applications of the blockchain”.
Finally, this is the company’s first day of being as Earn.com. Therefore, the company has stopped supporting to the Bitcoin computer, 21 command line interface (CLI) and API marketplace. According to the notification sent to customers last week.
