The cryptocurrency market has continued to bounce back this weekend, with the major coins remaining in the green zone.

BTC is heading towards resistance at $44K, ETH is hovering around $3.3K. However, Aave is leading the race with 9.1% gains.

As the market recovers, a $30.6 million cryptocurrency shopping spree was just completed by one mega-whale.

The Ethereum whale wallet Light purchased 399,999 OMG for $2,451,999, according to the blockchain transaction tracker WhaleStats.

The OMG Foundation, formerly known as the OMG Network, is an Ethereum layer-2 scaling solution that works with popular wallets. OMG, the 122nd-ranked crypto currency, is currently trading at $6.47

The fourth-richest whale wallet also paid $25,170,000 for a million worth of Chainlink (LINK), a decentralised oracle network.

Chainlink is the 17th most valuable cryptocurrency at the time of writing, with a price of $25.85.

The wallet also filled up on Shiba Inu (SHIB), a famous meme coin, purchasing 58.9 billion tokens for $1,906,592.

Shiba Inu has fought its way back from monthly lows on January 9th, and is now worth $0.00003.

Gala, a play-to-earn blockchain gaming platform, was the last altcoin on Light’s to-do list (GALA). The whale snatched 3,260,000 GALA tokens worth $1,137,691 off the market.

Gala is off to a shaky start in the new year, with its stock dropping from $0.45 to $0.32.

Light also made a massive buy of the Bitcoin-pegged currency Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), spending $86,428,000 on 2,000 WBTC, according to WhaleStats.

Wrapped Bitcoin is presently valued at $42,849, the same as the most valuable cryptocurrency Bitcoin (BTC).

Finally, according to WhaleStats, SHIB has become the most popular token among the top Ethereum wallets, accounting for 15.75 percent of total holdings.
